Rawdon Hill Homes prides itself on delivering high quality homes with premium inclusions as standard. However, we have a long list of luxe inclusions that you can add to your design. There are many reasons to do this, including: to add a sense of luxury; to personalise it to your own taste; to create a more original design; to enhance the home; or, to add to its eventual resale value.

The luxe inclusions you choose will depend on your own particular lifestyle and your unique wants and needs. Whether for better functionality or a touch of grandeur, it is worth investing in the luxury elements you want now, so you can enjoy your new home to its full potential. The list of luxe inclusions options is lengthy and you can read through them all here. (Link to luxe inclusions page on website).  We have chosen our favourites that you may be interested in considering.

Kitchen

Cooking appliances
If you are most at home in the kitchen, enjoy cooking up a storm or need to cater for a crowd, upgrading your appliances to a larger model may be one of the most worthwhile luxe inclusions for you. You can choose from Franke Urban 900mm multi-function oven (Model FCE90M10B) and Franke Urban 900mm gas cooktop (Model FCG905S1) together, or the Electrolux 900mm freestanding cooker (Model EFE914DSD).

Splashback
Make your splashback a statement piece with one of our luxe options. Choose from clear glass (a brilliant option if your kitchen overlooks your backyard or greenery along your fence line), or porcelain tiles from the gold range, which are up to 450 mm x 450 mm in size.

Stone benchtops
Whether in your kitchen, laundry or bathrooms, stone benchtops are a sturdy and sleek addition to any home. Choose from the Quantum Quartz Deluxe Range with a choice or 20 mm or 40 mm edging.

Soft close drawers
Wherever you have drawers in your home, soft close drawers are a blessing. They eliminate noise, can stop little fingers from being slammed or caught, and tend to last longer as they are not under as much force as regular cabinetry.

Heating and Cooling

Ducted heating
For people who are often at home, like retirees, stay at home parents or those working remotely, you may consider including ducted heating as to ensure year round comfort. We offer the Brivis ‘Compact Classic’ ducted heating system as a luxe inclusion.

Reverse cycle heating/cooling
Alternatively, if you are not home often and only want to cool or warm the living spaces of your home on particular days, we can include a 7 kilowatt reverse cycle split system to your Family or Meals area.

Electrical

Ducted vacuum
If you love to keep your floors freshly vacuumed without the fuss, a ducted vacuum might be just the addition you need. Rather than moving a heavy vacuum around the house and juggling a power cord and vacuum, you can have three ducted vacuum points throughout your home and simply move the vacuum hose around.

Doors

Design specific feature front door
The entry to your home is the first thing that visitors will see and gives them an idea of the style of your home from the outset. Choose a specific feature front door from the Builders Range and make a statement.

Aluminum external sliding doors
For those who enjoy entertaining or making use of the indoor/outdoor space, external sliding doors are an effective way to join up your living areas.

Lighting

Feature pendant lights
Add a sense of style to your kitchen with up to three feature pendant lights above your bench or kitchen island. Choose from the Builders Range, or if you have the “Clare” design, you can choose from an alternative range of options.

Roofing

Wall mounted fold down clothesline
If you don’t want or don’t have the space for a hills hoist clothesline, a mounted clothesline on an external wall of your home is a welcome addition. Often out of sight and away from foot traffic, get your clothes dried sooner in the fresh air.

Other

Insulation
Another luxe inclusion is to upgrade your insulation to meet an N2 Wind rating, 6 star energy rating and 6 ½  year structural rating. This is beneficial in all homes as it assists in keeping your house warm or cool, when you want it to be, and thus saves you money on heating and cooling.

Higher ceilings
Whether you come from a family of tall people; want to create a more spacious feel in your home or a sense of grandeur; higher ceilings can accommodate all of these. This luxe inclusion takes the ceilings to a height of: 2730 mm in a single storey, or ground floor of a double storey; to a height of 2580 mm for the first floor of a double storey; and 2880 mm for the garage.

Garage rear access
Your home garage can be a multi-functional space and you cannot underestimate what it may be used for in the future. Our luxe inclusion is a plaster lined garage with concrete floor and rear access. Thinking forward, this may be invaluable if you need to store a caravan or boat in your backyard, or accommodate more cars with growing teenagers. It also makes the garage more liveable if you intend to use it as a gym or studio.

If it fits into your budget, it is worth adding the luxe inclusions you love into your house plan. Many of them may reflect the style of home you are after (like pendant lights or a feature door), others are an investment in your future comfort or convenience (like ducted heating or rear garage access), and others will save you money over time (like better insulation).
